Welcome back everyone to No BS Gaming Series #1: Let’s Play Sonic 2! In the last part we sped through 3 more zones, got betrayed by tails, and left off finishing the Mystic Cave Zone. In this part we jump around through the Oil Ocean Zone and then try to make it through the Metropolis Zone alive, finishing off the “normal zones”.
The Oil Ocean Zone is one of my least favorite zones, it’s a bit confusing and the bottom of the zone is covered with oil which is very easy to die in. Though luckily the badniks aren’t too hard, so this zone isn’t very hard.
Metropolis Zone is actually a 3 act zone, that’s brutally difficult. It’s quite long and has lot’s of hard badniks. But it has also quite a few cool moments as well. Though tails has a very hard time with this stage.
I actually never got to this zone on my own before, except when we had that race going on, like a year or so ago

I’ve never seen these levels. This game is a lot larger than I thought.
