Minecraft – First Peek.. Into the Netherworld… Day 23

Minecraft – First Peek.. Into the Netherworld… Day 23

Jan 28, 2011

With the necessary obsidian, I begin my discovery of the creation of a Nether gate, but it won’t be an easy task, as this miner is quite blind, it will take some time for him to finally figure it out…

but… the wait is worth it, as we get our first look… into the nether… AND MAN, IS IT CREEPY IN THERE!

well actually, the local zomby pigs seem pretty tame, you know, asides from maybe a creepy sight, this place doesn’t seem so dangerous

or so I first thought…

At 6:59 when you were mining that Obsidian, you were lucky that you didn’t fall down into the lava XD

16:14 Aw poor pig has been rejected :(

With the realistic texture pack, the Nether looks a hell of a lot better. With the basic theme, everything just looks like re-colored gravel, which is extremely boring. I was kinda disappointed there was no ghasts awaiting to kill you once you entered the nether, like there was for me :(

Yea obsidian takes way too long to mine. Here’s a little suggestion, in situations where you are like building the obsidian gate, I think it would be best to fast forward it and add some jingles or whatever. Since I found after 2 minutes of watching you build it, I got pretty bored. But the problem was, there was around 6 minutes of you trying to build it. Or maybe just skip to when you finally get it right. Normally failing a few times owuldn’t be a problem for a blind LP, but because obsidian takes sooo long to mine, it got very tedious. Other then that, it was yet another great video ;)
